Taste Just Like Chicken Feet

Last week was the celebration of my triplet niece and nephews one month birthday.  Dinner was served with yummy marinated pork ribs, garlic stir fried vegetables, soy sauce ginger scallion tofu, and the highlight dish of sauteed chicken feet.  The Chinese really don't let any part of the animal to go to waste!  Although I grew up eating chicken feet mostly at dim sums, I believe this is a bizarre dish to many non-Asian folks because they normally eat the chicken meat instead of the feet.  However, the chicken feet in my opinion is one of the most tasty parts of the chicken.  As you bite into the flavorful feet, the skin slides right into your mouth and off small bones connected with soft tendons and tissues.  Soon enough you will find a stack of small chicken feet bones piled onto your plate!  I think the reason why chicken feet tastes so good is how the chicken feet skin absorbs the flavorful sauces like a powerful mini sponge, which bursts into your mouth with every single bite.  Although one may stare at a chicken feet and pay attention to the claws and skinny long toes, one must consider trying this tasty dish to understand why it is so popular throughout Asia.
